    1

    Arrival / Negombo

    Upon your arrival in Sri Lanka (Day 1 in tour) , your tour guide will greet you at the airport and accompany you on a journey inland to the enchanting town of Negombo.

    Negombo, with a captivating history shaped by Portuguese, Dutch, and British colonial influences, is a coastal gem in Sri Lanka. Its bustling fish market, where colorful boats unload their catch, offers a glimpse into the city's longstanding fishing tradition.

    2 to 3

    Negombo / Sigiriya

    Commence the journey (Day 2) along Sri Lanka's coconut tri-angle, leading you to an enchanting destination in cultural tri-angle. En route, discover Danansooriya Home Garden, a self-sustaining home garden model in Pannala, which is small –scale agricultural system that combine tress, shurbs, herbs and crops on a harmonical way. Have a walk in the eco-system and enjoy a home cooked traditional Sri Lankan lunch which are made with home grown ingredients.

    Today (Day 3), uncover the wonders of Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a timeless UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as "Lion Rock," it once boasted a majestic lion sculpture guarding the entrance to the Palace atop this 600-foot high rock. Explore the remnants of the Royal Palace, Water Tanks, and guardhouses on its summit, while hidden caves reveal breathtaking frescoes from South Asia.

    Next, venture to Polonnaruwa, where Buddhist and Hindu archaeological wonders harmoniously coexist. One must-see gem is the renowned rock temple of Gal Vihara, where four magnificent Buddha statues are skillfully carved into the stone. For an active and immersive experience, hop on a bike to discover the ancient ruins. Your day concludes with a relaxed evening at the hotel.

    4 to 5

    Sigiriya / Kandy

    Transfer (Day 4) to Kandy, stopping by the Dambulla Cave Temple en route. It's a World Heritage Site, the biggest and most well-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The area boasts over 80 recognized caves adorned with paintings and statues depicting Lord Buddha's life, covering an area over 2,000 square meters.

    Afternoon, Enjoy the city tour of Kandy. Explore various attractions such as Upper Lake Drive, Market Square, Arts & Crafts Centre, Gem Museum, the cultural capital, enjoy sundowners and a mesmerizing Traditional Kandyan Cultural Performance in the evening.

    Today (Day 5), morning visit to Temple of Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha which has been revered since the 4th Century A.D, when it was brought to Sri Lanka. Over the centuries, its significance and sanctity have grown not only in Sri Lanka but also among Buddhists worldwide. It is considered the most treasured possession of Sri Lanka.

    Thereafter, explore Gadaladeniya, Lankathilake, Embekke, historical sites in Sri Lanka with cultural and architectural significance. Ambekke is renowned for its 18th-century Ambekke Devalaya, known for its intricate woodcarvings. Lankathilaka is famous for its well-preserved 14th-century Buddhist temple, showcasing superb Sinhalese architecture, while Gadaladeniya boasts a 14th-century rock temple that combines South Indian and Sinhalese architectural styles.

    Afternoon, Explore the Royal Botanical Garden, originally established in 1374 as a royal pleasure garden for the Kings of Gampola and Kandy. Discover over 5,000 tree and plant species, including rare and endemic varieties, along with tropical flora from around the world.
    Afterward, transfer back to the hotel.

    6 to 7

    Kandy / Nuwara Eliya

    B/F at hotel and heading to Nuwara Eliya (Day 6), legendary tea country in central highlands.  En route to N Eliya, you will be witnessing Ramboda Falls and visiting Labookale Tea factory which is established 150 years ago, produces finest teas. After seeing the manufacturing process, indulge yourselves with a high tea at Labookale Tea Lounge. After reaching to Nuwara Eliya, you will be having lunch and experiencing visit to Geogory Lake and Seetha Amman Hindu Temple in Seetha Eliya, which is dedicated to Sita, the central female character in the Indian epic Ramayana, and is believed to be the spot where she was held captive by the demon king Ravana. The temple's serene surroundings and cultural significance make it a popular pilgrimage site and tourist attraction.

    Today (Day 7) begins with a captivating journey to Horton Plains, nestled in the heart of Sri Lanka's central highlands. Marvel at the natural wonders of this enchanting plateau, where the highlight is World's End—a dramatic cliff providing a panoramic vista of sprawling tea plantations below. Delight in the serenity of Baker's Falls, a picturesque waterfall, and immerse yourself in the rich biodiversity, with opportunities to encounter the graceful Sambar Deer and perhaps catch a glimpse of the elusive leopard. Horton Plains National Park promises an unforgettable adventure for nature enthusiasts and those seeking the beauty of Sri Lanka's landscapes.

    8 to 9

    Nuwara Eliya / Ella / Yala

    After early B/F (Day 8), you will be dropping at the Nanu-Oya train station for Train Journey from Nanu-Oya to Ella in Sri Lanka is considered one of the most scenic train rides in the world. The approximately three-hour trip takes you through lush green tea plantations, mist-covered mountains, and picturesque valleys, offering breathtaking views at every turn. Afternoon, you will be picked up at Ella railway station by your chauffeur. Lunch will be at Ella.

    En route to Yala witness, Ravana Falls cascades down from a height of approximately 25 meters, surrounded by lush greenery, making it a popular tourist attraction for its natural beauty and the opportunity to swim in its refreshing waters. In the evening you will be checking a hotel in Yala. 

    Today (Day 9), after early B/F, you will be having full day Wild Safari at Yala National Park is a renowned wildlife sanctuary situated in the southeast region of Sri Lanka. It is the country's second-largest national park and is well-known for its diverse range of wildlife, including the highest density of leopards in the world. The park also offers stunning landscapes, with coastal plains, lagoons, and dense forests, making it a prime destination for nature lovers and safari enthusiasts.

    Yala / Galle

    Today (Day 10), Depart Yala to captivating colonial city of Galle. Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, stands as a testament to the city's colonial past, featuring well-preserved Dutch architecture and charming cobblestone streets, making it a popular tourist destination and a window into Sri Lanka's colonial history. Afterward a walk in Galle city and spend the rest of your day at leisure in hotel.  

    Explore on (Day 11) a captivating Story of Cinnamon Tour, offering insight into the vital role of this spice in Sri Lanka. Led by a knowledgeable local planter, you'll explore an expansive plantation, gaining firsthand experience of the cinnamon production process. Culminate the tour with a delectable four-course lunch infused with the flavors of cinnamon, a fitting tribute to this cherished spice.     As your memorable journey through Sri Lanka comes to a close, today (Day 13) marks your final day of this incredible tour. We will arrange a comfortable transfer for you to Colombo International Airport, ensuring a seamless departure as you carry with you cherished memories of this enchanting island.

    If you have a late departure and time permits, you will be able to explore Colombo city, the capital city of Sri Lanka, offers a range of tourist destinations that blend history, culture, and modernity. Visitors can explore iconic sites such as the Dutch Hospital, the bustling Pettah Market, and the colonial-era Independence Square. The city also features impressive landmarks like the Gangaramaya Temple providing a glimpse into the rich heritage and vibrant atmosphere of Colombo.
